Pre-incubation

Twelve months, twelve modules, one working business

A year-long pre-incubation cohort for a region that has talent and no local path to use it. Participants arrive with no idea, no team and no code. They leave with a product and a paying customer.

90
minutes per module

Modules 1 and 12 run longer than 90 minutes. Cohort size and fee are set per engagement.

Where this sits

Below incubation

It sits under the incubation infrastructure a technology park already operates, and above nothing, because at present nothing exists below it.

It feeds, it does not compete

Not an accelerator. Teams that are ready get routed into national accelerators. The rest are not treated as failures.

Revenue that stays

Most technology programs convert regional talent into an outcome that exists in the capital. This one converts talent into revenue that stays in the region.

In-person modules: 1, 4 and 12. Everything else runs online.

Field Day

Participants leave the building. They talk to real business owners in their own city, in their own language, and come back with one problem a named person actually has. Products get built for customers who already exist. A hackathon can be bought locally. This cannot.

Four outcomes, measured separately

Accelerator pipeline

Teams routed into national accelerators. Measured by applications submitted and interviews reached, not places won.

Service businesses

Participants launch service businesses for regional tourism, agriculture and trade. Measured by participants with a first paying customer.

Technical placement

Graduates placed into resident companies, incoming regional offices, or remote roles. Measured by placements.

Local facilitators

Participants who convert on none of the above are trained and paid to run the next cohort. This is what lets year two run without us in the room.

Each track reports on its own clock. Assessing all four at month three shows two empty columns and reads as failure.

Built for one region at a time

The same method, the same facilitators and the same language carry to the next region. The first instance is the proof, not the destination.
